Have you the felling to have met Seth before? Let's have a look at those who came before him.

{ sirius/camus - fe 1 and 3 }
Ok you may have some doubts about this comparison, but I also consider only particular side of their perosnality which are common, especially the unconditionated trust for their ideals and the love for their sovereign (ehrm in this case I may underline female sovereigns ^^"). Sirius is somehow similar to Seth, under this point of view.

{ oifaye - fe 4 }
In my humble opinions Oifaye is the character who inspired Seth the most (and also my favourite Jeigan). They have lots of aspects in common, first of all their personality, although Oifaye is more mature and he's somehow more malincholic. They both sacrifice themself for the good of the prince they serve, withoth thinking too much about the consequences of the evnts, especially on their regards. Protecting is the reason of their existence.

{ fin - fe 4/5}
I think Seth is also similar to Fin. They have the same points of view, although Seth seems less innocent or naive. I think they're both seem good persons with no will to arm people but when it comes to battle, they both show their strenght and courage, even if they don't realize their valour or emphasize it.
Plus since Eirik is the ehmr...copy of Lachesis, I somehow tend to consider Seth the Fin of the story (forgive me, this a really stupid reason.

{ kent - fe 7 }
Kent is so similar to Seth. I suppose he's more similar to him than to the other green social knight (his counterpart in this case). Their story is somehow similar and also their motivations are quite the same. I think the most common aspect of their perosnality is the sence of loyalty they feel for those they serve. Also the romantic approcial with their princess is somehow similar, don't you think so?

I should add other characters (like Carrion from FE 5 for istance), but these are the most suitable to this analisys.
Something I won't ever do is to compare Seth with Jeigan or with Marcus (forget it!)
